The ABA Original SMO is made from SMO 254 and is ideal for the most demanding environments where low-alloy stainless steel or acid-resistant materials are inadequate. SMO 254 is an austenitic stainless steel for maximum resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion and offers very good resistance to various types of stress corrosion.
